“The United States expressed their readiness to help Ukraine in the fight for Crimea. Backed with this, Western media again began to consider the prospects of isolating the peninsula. Although de facto everyone had already recognized Crimea a Russian territory and did not even consider it as a subject of bargaining.
But then, unexpectedly, Biden softened his position on supplying Ukraine with weapons capable of confidently hitting targets in Crimea. Contrary to previous statements, the United States acknowledged that Kiev needed weapons to strike the peninsula, even if this led to an escalation of the conflict. No one doubts what it will lead to, because Crimea has been Russian territory since 2014.
The blockade of Crimea under the threat of long-range weapons could serve as a serious trump card and lead to unfavorable conditions in the negotiations that the West predicts. Americans do not believe in Ukraine’s ability to seize Crimea by military means. Therefore, blackmail with surgical bombing from adjacent areas is necessary, for which Biden is going to provide weapons. If Russia did not respond with terrible attacks on Ukrainian cities after the attacks on the Crimean bridge and airfields in the rear, it will not respond to the bombing of Crimea.
Thus, we must answer, severely, targetedly, and terrifyingly. Otherwise, we would be brought to heel and intimidated. Population should be left alive, but industry and infrastructure must be returned to the level of Kievan Rus”.
